Emergency Management Services for Healthcare Clients

RMPG is pleased to announce a collaborative effort with Incident Management Solutions, Inc. (IMS) of Uniondale, New York.

IMS, recognized leaders in emergency management consulting, have been engaged to assist our healthcare clients in structuring their emergency operations plans and in achieving both compliance and competency in their implementation of required activities detailed in the “National Incident Management System (NIMS) Implementation Activities for Hospital and Healthcare Systems.”

Hospitals have until September 30, 2007 to implement the 17 required elements which include the staff completion of certain courses (IS 700 and 80, and ICS 100 and 200).

Additionally, extensive revisions to the Joint Commission’s standards for emergency management take effect January 1, 2008. An emergency response structure that is compliant with NIMS requirements will be a primary goal of hospitals in managing the revised elements of performance and acquiring funding for improvements to their preparedness activities.

Together with the extensive expertise and experience the IMS principals provide, RMPG can guide our healthcare client organizations in implementing new emergency plans and procedures, and the development of successful training programs for all staff levels.
